why the scouts are honorable
Now before anyone flames me for posting these, this is a flag retiring cerimony. all of these flags have been torn up and or faded and dirtied in some way shape or form. (some we had a hard time folding because they were so messed up.) Now the BSA (Boy Scouts of America) is one of the few orginizations allowed to do this cerimony by congress.
First, we said one last pledge of alligence to them.
Then, my scout master would salute each one, one last time.
Then, they were retired in the only way they can be: camp fire. (you can'y bury them, that's basically letting them touch the ground.)

How environmentally friendly.
Wow, these scenes are as creepy as going to church and enjoying it.

People tend to jump all over the Liberals and tree huggers not to mention the foreigners who burn our flags, but like you have shown, burning is the only way authorized to destroy an American Flag that has been retired! It's just rare to see! Thanks for sharing! Good job!
