HMMMMM IT'S ALL GOOD TO ADD SOME FEMALES TO THE RANKS. BUT WHY NOT JUST CREATE A NEW CHARACTER. I THINK MOST WONT MIND THE FIGURE JUST NOT USE HIM.....ERRR, AH HER AS DIALTONE.

I'm leaning toward IMPARTIAL on this one. I figured on making movie Breaker in DialTone anyway. Personally, I think it'd be awesome if LowLight was female. Oh wait, Bombstrike is close enough.

In the new comic series Dialtone is a female so that is possible, or if you want it as Hasbro might say "There are no plans at this time but we'll see what the future holds"

Considering the changes made to some of the characters in the movie, it wouldn't surprise me in the least. I would also like more female Joes, but not at the expense of established characters. Continually re-writing Joe history whenever the mood takes them just shows that Hasbro has no respect for their long time fans who have supported the line since day one.

Hey, I just thought of something. If they do make Dial Tone a female, does the mustache stay!?!?!?

Oh, come on... Ripcord black, Dial-tone female, what will be the next? Major Bludd as a alien? or perhaps as a black woman ?
There are hundreds of joes & cobras to choose, if you want a black paratrooper why not Static Line? if you want another female joe why not Bombstrike, or Lady Jaye, that even if she is dead it's not so bad to revive it.

I agree, man. The entire history of GI Joe means nothing now, it is changed to suit the whims of the moment, especially if it means $$$$ for Hasbro.

So, is there actually such a rumour somewhere (other than this thread), or do we need to draw conclusions from the posting date of your message ? Just checking...
