Target vs. Wal-Mart
I'm sure by now most of you have raided Target stores for their 4.99 Joes, but here's something you might find interesting...
I raided all the Targets within my city and found crap for selection, so I purchased a figure that I didn't have, but didn't really care to own either. I then took the figure, the shopping bag, and the receipt to Wal-Mart, showed a manager and then bought about half-dozen Joes for 4.99. I have done this at 4 different Wal-Marts and its got me Wraith, BAT (x's 3), Vipers (x's8), Mutt & Junkyard, Croc Master, Airborne, Para-Viper, Buzzer, and Tripwire.
Good luck!

I almost locked this thread but re-read it to be sure. WHY? Cuz it's a type of scam to buy a product at a lower price in 1 place and return it to another business to make a buck. That's not ok and we dont' support that here. BUT with this tactic, I think it's kosher. What I don't quite understand is that... Aren't the Target Joes on sale? Most businesses don't match sale prices.
Please clue the, uh, clueless if the Target $5 thing is their STANDARD price or the a SALE price!

The Target Joes are on sale and Wal-Mart matches any sale price, but only if its advertised.
As far as returning figures... I never even thought of that, I was simply looking at a way to buy them for 30-50% cheaper than usual. I don't know about where you all live, but here Wal-Mart sells the Joes for almost 7.00 and Target here sells for 7.99, while K-Mart is 8.99. So, as far as returning them to save or make a buck or two... not happening... I buy and keep, I only return if its defective.
