The defiant's pics.
What a shame there're so few pics of the 1987 Defiant on Joedios.com (only by giTom)...
Has anybody a Defiant here?
Than You all, Neapolitan Joe.

It is one of my long term goals to own one. I just need to get finished with college and get a good job.

Thanks for bringing up the Defiant! It's pure awesomeness! I watched that thing for a couple years, knowing that it was out of my price range. I lucked up and picked it up for $99.99 at a local TRU in 1990.
Check out my link to see the status of the beast! (well, maybe not! reached bandwidth capabilities before I got to the end. Geocities sucks!

Unfortunately the Defiant was never available here, and it's way too big to buy one second hand and have it mailed over. Plus, I don't have the storage room for it either! I do, however, have a Crusader, which I think I've used in...erm...1 pic that I've posted here.

I have the Defiant, but with it and the gantry/Crawler and booster, it's just too big. Hard to take a good pic and Part of a sad day for me. My Friend Scott and I collected when we were younger and swore when Joe went into Space, we were gonna quit. I did buy the Defiant and the Crusader, but stopped long before Star Brigade became the flavor of the day!
The thing that sucks about the whole thing is;
1.) The Crawler suffers from OG...Over Gunned! It would take almost the whole Roster of Joes to man every gun on the thing!
and
2.) 90% of the guns are held on by weak tabs that break easily. Almost all of the gun turrets on mine are just "sitting" on it, If I move it, they all fall off!
The problem with Huge playsets is no place to set them up and you can never use 100% of the cool stuff they have!

Defiant-Lite
I never could afford the Defiant Complex. It was way too big and I never could pull together the funds for it. I instead bought the Avenger. It was just the shuttle and pod, with an astronaut and EV pack. It was the same shuttle as the Defiant. I'm debating whether to sell it or customize it. My dio-lines don't tend to take the guys into space. Who knows?
