Default dio stories, do or dont

i have been going back through different sites and looking at some older dio stories that arent made anymore. it got me thinking if maybe everyone just got to busy or it they stopped because of interest of they thought no one was reading them. i read every dio here, there are very few i dont comment on because i realize the work that goes into them. i also look at every single picture, i rarely comment on these anymore because they all get tones of comments and its easier to take one shot instead of many. plus what i want to say usually has already been said. what im asking is even if you do not comment on dios, do you read them?

My major problem is time. I tend to get swamped with school and the time just isn't there to read everything. I know in the slow moments I tend to try to catch up. But I do miss a few things.

Commenting relates to that, but also if I have nothing to really add I tend not to. I am trying to break myself of that habit though since I know feedback fuels the fires of creativity. I am alot better at it than I used to be but not as good at it as I could be.

I usually only read ones that are different. Shorter and less serious ones are better.

I read the ones that look interesting to me, but I rarely comment. I probably should comment more, because I'm often wondering why my own stories don't get more replies, but I'm really just getting the same treatment I give (or in this case don't give) to others.

I actually prefer the more serious ones. I'm all for the occasional moment of comedy, but overall, I don't think Joes work very well for Toyfare-style stuff. Of course, this is assuming you meant "less serious" as in "comical." If you mean "light-hearted," then I definitely agree! G.I. Joe shouldn't be morbid and full of wanton death and destruction. I like stories that have the tone of the cartoon and most of the Marvel comics run -- characters and situations that can be taken serously (and take themselves seriously), but plenty of wisecracks and over-the-top dialogue to keep it fun.

Dio stories are fine if that's what you're into, but they aren't really my thing. I've read a few over the years and they really just don't grab my interest. That's not to say I don't appreciate the work that goes into them, because I do, and people should be proud of their work. They're just not for me, that's all.
