Latest Photo Shoot
You guys have seen the latest GI Joe fotos from me. Sometimes, I like to showcase WHERE I shoot. I've been taking shots from Squalicum Beach this past week. It's a typical Washington beach which means there isn't much in the way of sand, but rocks and debris. As a skater, I always looked for spots to skate at when walking and/or driving by. As a snowboarder, I always looked for natural kickers to hit. As a photographer, I always look for places too shoot.
Take a gander, ya? And yes, this is PHOTO HEAVY!!! Maybe as heavy as Big Momma!

It might be hard to see, but there's either a tunnel or pipe built into the hill. I want to shoot in there but I'm worried a homeless person might attack me.
A real concrete pipe that is more doable in terms of shooting, tho it'll be wet!

The logs, they come with the river when it rains more than the normal? About a homeless person, try to walk in with someone else with you. So just one will be hit, the other can run and tell the story for the grandchildrens .

For the Tunnel, look for signs of comings and goings, foot prints, disturbed dirt.... if its a regularly used spot, these should be appearent. Bring a bright flashlight (or two) and a couple candy bars for peace making in case you disturb a lightfooted indian...
I would assume its there but can't see it, be careful of poison oak. I have been tempted with a few places here in Santa Cruz in the parks but I get that pretty good, I watch for that itch causing plant every where I go...
You have some nice spots and privacy to not be disturbed while taking pictures. Can't wait to see what you come back with.
