As for the lack of R rating for the 1st one, there's a reason for that. If you guys listen to the commentary, the PG13 rating comes from the fact that it wasn't filmed in the US. And, iirc, it had something to do with more aliens being killed than humans and when 'monsters' kill each other, it's apparently not as violent. Or realistic.

But I agree, it'll be nice to have an R-rated flick where maybe we actually see some people get properly wasted. (tis that age, isn't it?) From what I read, Fox has given up on both Predator and Aliens so it's believed that we'll never see SigourneyWeaver/EllenRipley again. Judging by AvP2, well... it looks like just an action-fest with hottie Reiko Aylesworth (24). The guys who are doing the movie are fx guys from other movies so don't expect too much out of this movie.

I hope all the good parts weren't already shown in the trailers, y'know?
