I took a look and for me it also says "Unlimited space allowed", but I'm very much certain there used to be a limit on my account, so this has changed some time ago. Perhaps at one of the two recent downtimes ? A lot of strange things happening at this site, nowadays. It was never the most stable of sites, but it hasn't improved at all lately.

I shot a message to Hammerfel, but I haven't heard back from him, but I'll give him a couple of days before I start busting skulls. hopefully it's something that can be fixed, I just spent the last few day days taking some really kewl shots that the world needs to see. They will bring tears to your eyes and make your own photos seem inferior.
OK, not really, but I did take some pictures this weekend I'd like to post.

I think all of us should respect the 800x600 cap.

Incidentally, on what do you base that 600x800 limit ? I don't recall ever reading about that condition before on JoeDios. And most pictures on here are bigger than that. To be honest, I don't recall reading about that 2MB limit either, though that one could make a bit more sense.

You can't post anymore pictures due to your member rank, originally a veteran member was someone who had 200 posts, but that got changed. You have to be a veteran member to get unlimited space

I think it's the size in KB rather than the pixel dimensions that's important. Most photo editing software has a tool that allows the quality and therefore size of a jpeg to be adjusted. I leave mine set on 6/10 (medium quality), and the pictures rarely exceed 200 or 300KB for a busy 1280 x 960 shot, and still look okay.

So...
what about a cap of 1280 x 960 and 500k?
