As I'd hoped, Duke is obviously based on the opening of G.I. Joe: The Movie. I just need a 1:18 scale Stature of Liberty to put him on top of.
Wild Bill looks good, though his head is a bit on the small side.
Spirit looks angry, but is still a nice update of the original, and the removable cartridges for his gun are pretty neat.
Snake-Eyes is not v4, but v3, which I never owned. I love that his knives appear to be removable.
HISS Driver is, just like the original, pretty lame. I might get one just to have, but all my HISSes are driven by Super Sonic Fighter Vipers (my Viper motor corps), so I really have no use for this guy.
The Viper is pretty awesome, though I wonder why he has no goggles. I'm guessing they're a separate piece that just wasn't ready when the pictures were taken. Or maybe Hasbro finally heard all the people asking "What's the point of goggles when you have a full face plate?" and completely did away with them...
...But wasn't Major Bludd supposed to be part of this wave too?!?

That Snake Eyes was the first one I got, so I wouldn't mind getting a 25th version, though I'm sure it will be released several times, so I may wait to pick it up. Also love the Viper.
Duke's too similar to the 5 pack so I'll pass on that.

That was my first Snake Eyes too and I'm really pleased with how he came out. Hopefully we get Nightcreepers soon. I always liked sparing them off with v3 Snake Eyes. Seeing how well that came out makes me wish they'd waited to do v2. He'd look so much better with the proper legs and the wrist dart.
Anyway, Big Bad has these up for preorder. I took advantage of the Vipers being offered separately. Yeah the cost over twice as much but I got so sick of running around trying to find CGs. I'll shell out the extra $$$ and chock it up as time and gas money.

There's been a lot of talk of taking that Duke figure and turning him into Grunt. Personally, I think the jetpack and the American flag are the selling point, in which, I have neither at this time! As for SE, it's nice they are doing a DIFFERENT SE as opposed to a repaint or whatever. STormy on the other hand is getting some VERY strange love. I mean, there's a SHIRTLESS stormy coming! However, both that Duke (if i bother) and SE will be MOC.
Wild Bill is the best, hands down. I'm impressed.
Spirit. Ok.
HISS Driver. I think he looks great. I never minded the old design or figure. But why's he single packed??? WHy isn't he going to be with the Target HISS to make it an even more awesome exclusive??? Did people buy a bunch of HISSes back in the day w/o a driver???
Viper. Absolutely wonderful. Perfect. Too bad we'll never see these on the shelves and they are TOO expensive to build. I'll stick with my VvV Vipers. But they are great. THIS'LL be MOC cuz what are we going to do with 1 VIPER???

Some details here and there lower the quality fot these figs, but still they are reeeeeally cool. The Viper looks sa bity strange on the helmet, can't explain what is it, but it's a bit like the CG with his helmet.
Snake-Eyes v3 was too my first Snake-Eyes, but still everybody could have done without two of the previous versions, wich could have been replaced by this one from the beggining.

More use of the new tooling by making HISS driver single carded, i.e. higher production run than the Target Hiss. Plus fans are "forced" to buy two seperate items.
There's plenty of driverless vehicles out there (why limit the driver to just Hiss tanks?). I'd be loving the opportunity to buy additional armor crewman...if they were 3 3/4" Heck, I might get them for the DTC Hiss...if they fit and I feel like it.
I don't like the collar much. Not sure why they did it on Flash to begin with.
