Hi Jay,
In regards to your CP Lady Jaye mishap.
Something to use for paint removal that is little known is fingernail polish. Put a small amount of polish on the paint spot you want to remove. Wipe it off with a rag after about 5 seconds--before it dries. It should take off one layer of paint, without damaging the layer below.
I took off the camo off my v1 Tunnel Rat that way. It took off the factory paint apps without messing with the color of his skin below. (Not sure why I did that back in the day, but I'm sure I had a reason.)
My brother painted a hot wheels car once and I got back to the original paint job with this technique.
It's not guaranteed, but it's worth a shot, and better than just chucking away the head (or dealing with Lady Jaye with 5 o'clock shadow). Let me know if it works for you.
Joe

Using the nail polish remover is what got me in trouble in the first place. I guess since the paint wasn't all dry, it just liquified even more and got in the "pores" of the plastic or something...
Fortunately I've been provided with a new CP Lady Jaye head, so I can start off fresh. Just came in the mail today.

Great to hear Jay!
For the record, it is actual nail polish I use, not remover. I actually destroyed a v1 Storm Shadow's feet with remover, and I will never touch a bottle of that, even to this day....Remover is toxic to plastic, and actually alters the plastic completely.
And that can't be un-done. But regular old polish has some bizarre reaction to paint. I used a some clear kind that my mom had. I'm not sure if I would try it with the more colorful styles my wife has, but I was just trying to be helpful.
Once again, I'm glad a troop builder was able to help you out!

Thanks!

Toys R Us has the PTE BlackHawk....It's not sold as PTE...it's called Elite Operations or something like that, but it's the same thing....and it comes in both black and green. If you can't find it, PM me and I'll buy them for you and ship them to you...you just need to send me the $20.00 each they cost.

Does anyone have these:
Backpacks to spare?
I'll pay .30 cents a piece plus shipping-or trade you Hasbro weapons-I have a lot of Hasbro AK Rifles-the ones that came with the Oktober Guard.
Thanks!

A Need!
I had a mishap with my Night Raven. It tumbled off a 6' shelf and landed nose first. There is considerable damage to the bottom of the fuselage from the nose to the rear of the cockpit - parts completely broken off. There are also stress cracks through the forward section of the landing gear area of the underside. Basically the lower section is a write off.
I'm looking for a scrapped out Night Raven that I can disassemble to take the lower section I need. The plane doesn't need any extras like tail fins, bombs, cockpit glass, cockpit seats, missle pods, etc.
If anyone can help me I'd appreciate it. Thanks
Bayer

Can anybody pick me up a 25th anniversary Flint if you find an extra? I'll pay ya back or trade a Crimson Guard Agent Faces.

Thank you Flatline!
