~Notes of Interest~
The individual Special Mission issues influence on the main series fluctuates from being a completely separate story to having a minor influence or is a direct continuation from the regular Marvel series.

Support Joes: Hawk
Cobra: Strato-Viper (deceased)

I liked 54 a lot. It was prior to the ninja crossover and shortly before Snake Eyes second demise, at least I think it was the second. Anyway, I thought the cover was cool, because until you read it you don't realize it's actually Snake Eyes and not Flint.

Ah yes, two great issues here. The main story line was ticking over nicely, and it was always cool to see 'Dromes get some action. And Special Missions #5 was one of the great ones, with some cool aircraft action. I always remember the Strato Viper unsuccessfully trying to find his break out tool at the end....

I think I liked this issue way back when. Certainly, I thought the cover was awesome. Ahhhh, the good old days when all it took was a cover to sell the comic!
