I have no hate for guys like Crosshair and Widescope and the Stall family.
The problem is, a lot of new characters tend to be overpowered. Just look at Big Brawler and Sure Fire from the Real American Hero Collection. One hybridizes Outback, Snake-Eyes all in an 80s action star loose cannon package, which is awful. The other mixes Chuckles, Shockwave and Quick Kick with some Hollywood FBI Hero thrown in. They're both awful, awful characters.
Wreckage, likewise, is able to WRITE ON PEOPLE'S HELMETS AND BACKS WITHOUT THEM NOTICING.
Helix is the worst offender of all. She can learn ANYTHING just by seeing it performed, she can instantly analyze situations, recognize weapons and their capacity, predict enemy moves and everything, everything, comes easy to her.
Say what you will about Snake-Eyes, it took him some epic hard work and a lot of personal tragedies for him to become what he is today. Helix, on the other hand, is the Mary Sue of all Mary Sues to whom everything comes easily.
And yeah, some people will say "Well then I'll just ignore the filecard/comic/whatever" and do my own thing!
To them I say: Quit hating on Snake-Eyes and do the same with him, then.
As for the City Strike figure, I bought the Rescue Mission version and wasn't very impressed. He can't hold his gun well, there is no way he can draw his sword realistically, posing his legs always knocks his belt out of the way and he's just too bulky for my liking in general. I much prefer the first ROC Snake-Eyes, provided you give him a Paris Pursuit SE head first.
