I used to keep my Joe vehicles under my bed when I lived at home (and shared a room with my brother). Now they're in my garage.

As for your question-- I mostly read American comics, but the few mangas I have include: some Dragon Ball, all of Gunsmith Cats, some Lupin the Third, and all of Big-O. I think that's it.

Wow, I'd almost forgotten about this thread! I can't believe it's been over a year since I posted those pictures. A lot has changed in there since then (same basic layout, but far, far, far more stuff on the walls). Maybe I should post some updated pictures...

I've played many RPGs over the years. I first got into it, as many did, with Dungeons & Dragons when I was in middle school (around 1991 or '92). From there, we moved to Marvel Super Heroes, then Rifts and the various other Palladium games (Heroes Unlimited, Ninjas & Superspies, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles). In high school, we played a little Star Trek, but mostly just went back to Marvel Super Heroes. In college, we played Robotech, then the second edition of Marvel Super Heroes, followed by more Star Trek (also a newer edition), then Dragonball Z, then back to Marvel, then the Wizards of the Coast Star Wars RPG.

After college, my friends and I had split up quite a bit, so unfortunately we stopped (this was about four or five years ago). Then, just recently, my best friend and I were hanging out with a new guy we've known for a couple of years, and learned that he used to be way into RPGs a long time ago. We decided to start up a Star Wars game, so we got a couple of other friends involved, and I literally just got back into RPGs about three months ago for the first time since around 2003!

FYI: In pretty much every game I've ever played for the past 16 years or so, I have been the gamemaster. I rarely ever get to join in as a player, because none of my other friends have ever wanted to GM! It's okay, though -- I actually like GMing a lot, and after all these years, I don't think I could get involved any other way!

(Sorry, that was a little long-winded -- Aren't you glad you asked?!?)

Gamemastering and diomaking is all about creating worlds and stories so no suprise there. I thought you who are both Transformers and GI Joe fan maybe played cartoon action hours Transformers and GI Joe knockoff games. Glad to hear you get to game again. Good luck. :)

When I was married, the wife would SOOOOO not let me have my Joe stuff displayed. Even when we had an office built (ableit, SMALL), she'd still be bugged about it. So alas, they just sat in storage in the closet. And now? It's half half. I don't have a 'library' but I do have stuff spread around the apt. And THomas even gets to play with some of it!

Heh, in my previous post, I almost said, "one of the benefits of being single is that I don't have to argue with anyone about what goes in what rooms."

Of course, this is not the main room in the house. My living room/dining/kitchen area is devoid of any such nerd-ness, and looks like anyone else's house. Even my bedroom is pretty normal (except for some Joe vehicles at the top of a shelf in the closet). It's only when you walk into this room that you get bombarded with all this stuff!
