Why Do You Like COBRA?

Greetings brief mortals!

Do you like Cobra?

If so, why?

What is Cobra's appeal to you?

They have a great health care plan + dental with lots of perks like world travel and company cars! :D

THEY HAVE THE COOLER OF THE VEHICLES FIGURES AND COLORS (imo) ;)

THE IDEA THAT A USED CAR SALESMAN WHO GETS FED UP WITH THE US GOVERNMENT AND SAYS THAT'S ENOUGH AND STARTS HIS OWN TERRORIST ORGANIZATION DETERMINED TO RULE THE WORLD SOUNDS PRETTY DARN COOL TOO..........MAKES ONE DREAM THAT ANYTHING CAN BE DONE LIKE OWNING YOUR OWN ISLAND. :D

I no longer think of Cobra Commander wanting to rule the world. Imagine the paperwork involved - yeuch!

I think of Cobra Commander more of an agent of chaos - destabilizing the world, just causing mayhem and destruction on a global scale, causing governments to collapse. He's just a ruthless SOB, highly intelligent, very skilled and pure evil.

I think the appeal for bad guys is their motivation. Why do they do it? What happened to them to make them so bad? Bad guys always have the best backstories and evil is the something that people can use to live vicariously. It's easy to identify with the good guys because most people ARE good guys. When you get to see life from the other side, the dark side, if you will, then that makes for a novel experience.
