Yes. They don't have much of what I am looking for. Thanks though.

I hope these maps are what you are looking for, or could be of some use to anyone else. I will put them into the files archive if and when that becomes doable.

You can also get maps like this just using Google Maps and switching to Terrain view. That usually shows the USGS map of the terrain. This could be kind of cool if you want to have something more meaningful to you on the map, like of a place where you've been before.

Google maps is good, but how do you turn off the markers showing where people have taken pictures? That is really annoying, especially when you zoom in on a land mark and it's covered with little purple squares?

But which Springfield? There are 37 of them in the country. Isn't Cobra's Springfield supposed to be in Vermont? Then later in the mid-west someplace?

Don't think the Marvel ones ever said where it was at. The new IDW one is in Illinois.

I just read the first 20 Marvels, I'm pretty sure Springfield was in Vermont. I think it was compromised as a secret Cobra base, so maybe they moved it to the mid-west. Seems a more logical to do that anyway; central location makes it easier to launch a full on attack on the US if Cobra Commander so desired.

i think you're right. also I think Larry Hama just thought it was the perfect generic and American name for an organization like Cobra to contaminate and infect!
