Does anyone know a reliable source for ordering Joes from within Canada?
I can't find anywhere that sells them locally and when I order them from the US the post office rips me off. I'm almost at the point of quitting.

Hey,
How does the Post Office rip you off?
I can understand if you had to pay duty when you recieve your figs but thats the Gov.
or get priority shipping with insurance.

That's the start of it but what makes me angry is the extra fee they charge you for charging duty. Then on top of that it's taxed. There's been times I've had to pay the Post Office up to 50% of what the item is worth. Even with the customs form marked "gift".

I hear your frustration.I only got hit hard once when I received my vintage AT AT(star wars) VIA UPS.I had to pay an extra $40.I am luckly in that I only had to pay duty on about 4 items over the last year.(Knocks on wood)
Don't give up as your luck may turn and buy from the right sellers on ebay to pick your Joes up.

UPS and curriers in general turn evil when they cross the border. Regular mail is slower but a whole lot cheaper.

I hear ya. I sent something down to Brazil and was going to send it by courier (UPS,FedEx, et.al.) and found that between them the USPS was cheapest. I don't know about the Dutys or taxes, but you've got my sympathy for the extra costs. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help (middleman kind of thing). :)

Thanks for the offer, much appreciated, but I don't really know what we could do.
