WHO is Glenda???
 

As the topic suggests, WHO IS GLENDA? I got the figure last week and it says that it's really Scarlet in disguise. Where did this gal come from? Was she in the comics? (be it DD or Marvel). Fill me in so when I do the review, I MIGHT have a clue as to who and what she really is!

My guess is that it/she was probably just the Argentinean version of scarlett. Just a repaint with a different name maybe?

Glenda is the Argentina version of Scarlett. Hasbro decided to just make her an alias of Scarlett. They believe most fans will relate to her better than Glenda.
In DDP's G.I. Joe #38 she made her only appearance.

Thx guys. I couldn't get a straight answer. I thought Glenda was her own person, but couldn't get things figured out from the JBL. The packaging says international GI joe or something... But... She didn't seem Russian or English to me. lol

I don't like they made Glenda an alias for Scarlett. I understand why they made Scarlett instead of her, but...I thought the appeal was that it was a different character as well as a rare foreign figure.

Also, they made a new head sculpt, but we won't be seeing a new Zarana until....2010? For the females, Hasbro seems to only care about LJ, Scarlett and the Baroness. Maybe a movie Cover-Girl will appear next year.
