Re: G.I. Joe meets the Transformers Part 4 (read second!)
I'm extremely interested! This looks great! Is it more of a pain in the ass than it is fun, because I gotta tell ya, I'm having a blast reading it!

Ditto, man! I was totally psyched when I read your first few pages originally. I love your work, and can't wait for more!

Oh... and I particularly enjoyed the brief conversation between Rock&Roll and Grunt; that just left a smile on my face.

I'll be honest here. The whole GI Joe meets TF thing totally turns me off. I stayed away from every incarnation of the comic books, y'know? But for some reason, my interest was piqued by yours. OPening up the two, holy cow!!! I don't know what it is, but the feel of it is just awesome. Very well done and it already has a better premise than the comics ever did. Unbelievably cool.

It's definitely fun, but sometimes it can be a pain. The photography is... interesting. I kind of have a new appreciation for George Lucas. It's hard to shoot Joes looking at and reacting to nothing, then insert the Transformers later. Plus I've been shrinking Masterpiece Optimus Prime in every shot to make him more in scale with the Alternators, and naturally I had to make it even harder for myself by adding in Bumblebee, using the original and manipulating his size to fit in with the Alts, and using the Action Master for his robot form, and also fiddling with that one's size!! These are the reasons why I'd never want to do a full-length story on this subject, but little bits and pieces like this are fun.

Heh heh, thanks; I thought it would be appropriate for Rock'n'Roll.

Obviously I have a different opinion on the premise-- I've always felt that if Batman and Superman and the Punisher and Galactus can co-exist in the same universes, there's no reason why the Joes and the Transformers can't do likewise. Though I don't blame you for staying away from the awful Marvel comics crossover, or the first Dreamwave one. I enjoyed the Devil's Due one, and what was printed of the second Dreamwave one though... Anyway, I'm really glad to see you've warmed up to my version of this idea.

Two more pages tomorrow, then within the next few weeks (I hope), Cobra and the Decepticons.
Thanks for all the compliments!

Good Stuff Self Modifier!!
I like how the Joes are checking out the American designs of the vehicles.. also it should be noted your use of the transformers sound (They make while they are transforming) is really well thought out and executed. If you actually try and say it.. it actually sounds like the noise they make..
I like how Duke reacts to the change by bawling "Protect General Hawk!"
