Default Uploading problem

I've been trying to post a photo for 2 days now, and keep getting the same error message:
This error (HTTP 500 Internal Server Error) means that the website you are visiting had a server problem which prevented the webpage from displaying.

I've seen plenty of new photos posted by others... so why am I having this problem? If I can't upload to the site, is there a way to post my photos using my own hosting service (Photobucket)?

Make the file lighter, 500k or less should work.

I use a program called powertoys imageresizer. You can make your pic any size on your HD.You don't have to upload to PB to do this.

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/...ppowertoys.mspx

Its 3/4 the way down on the right hand side.

I don't get why you don't resize after downloading the file from the camera. Resizing from the max resolution down to 800x600 pixels generally sharpens the image slightly. Even the most basic camera software allows that.

Oh, yeah, I can resize my pics right on my computer with 2 clicks... I just didn't realize that size was the problem. (Insert it's too big joke here.)

Thanks!
It'll be this month (June). I have the story plotted out to issue 12... it just seems every chapter requires more and more sets and props I have to build, and I don't have alot of skills in that area, so it takes longer than I would like. But it's Bludd vs the Dreadnoks, and a mission with Baroness and Firefly... so I hope it's worth the wait.
