Hasbro Q&A FALL - NOT TNA or T&A. :(
The fourth round of the 2009 G.I. Joe Q&A are due to me no later than Tuesday, September 8th at NOON eastern time (one week from tomorrow).
Any questions submitted after that will have to be used for the next round (not until November!).
Please remember that you have three (3) questions and that you need to submit them NOT to this email address, but to gijoeqa@hunterpr.com.
We will get answers back to you by Friday, September 18th.
Thanks and have a terrific Labor Day weekend!

-Why are there proportional differences on some of the figures? For example; the single pack Wild Bill had a very small head. On the other hand, Breaker had an oversized head. Also, it seems that hand size on figures seem to vary. This question pertains to the 25th Anniversary/ModernAge figures.
-What's the next theme after the movie concept? Will Duke ever be the same again?

* What were the motivations behind the changing of Dial-Tone from male to female in the new IDW, Resolute and Rise Of Cobra continuities? Is there any reason the established female GIJoe computer technician Firewall couldn't be used instead?
* What factors come into play when deciding the parts to use for "frankenjoes"? I'm mainly asking this because of the Rise Of Cobra Nitro-Viper and his chestplate-under-the-removable-chestplate thing he's got going on.
* With wave 4 of Rise Of Cobra on its way, I must ask... why has Hasbro consistently added flamethrowers to the Joe ranks since 1984 in spite of the fact that flamethrowers were banned from use by the US military in 1978?

Very good question, Jay. There are other similar issues I kinda wondered about over the years too. But anyway, I wonder what Hasbro would think of this one. A few silly thoughts come to mind: 1) Hasbro is trying to teach kids to question authority. 2) Flame throwers are cool. 3) Hawk needs someone to light his cigar. 4) In the Rise of Cobra the Joe team is international, not subject to US law. 5) ROC takes place in the near future--who's to say that the ban is lifted by then.
I figure Hasbro could reply with point 2, 4 and 5. Do you happen to know if the use of flamethrowers are banned from the UN? If they are, then that would make it harder for Hasbro to slither out of the question.

* Why were some of the 25th Anniversary figures, such as Roadblock, Bazooka and Pilot Scarlett, lacking the double-jointed knee that had been standard at that point?

1.) There are a few classic vehicles that have been seen in the past decade, such as the ASP and Moray Hydrofoil, what are the odds of seeing these in the near (or somewhat near) future?
2) We have heard that more "now and then" sets have been planned, any info on what to expect, or if not, a few (even subtle!) hints?
3)In the original toy line, why was the Alley Viper given such a odd color scheme? The Night-Viper and a few of his other fellow Cobras from that year had less "outlandish" colors, so why did the urban specialists wear orange and blue?
