Default My personal favourite shots - as requested.

A little while back I posted my 1,500th pic, and Scuba Steve suggested I go through all my shots and pick out my personal top ten faves. I found myself with a bit of time today (a rare non-hospital day! ), and did just that, except that it's actually my top fifteen - try as I might, I just couldn't cut the list any further. It took me ages to whittle it down from the original list of forty or so that I first came up with! So, in no particular order, here they are, with the reason I chose each one.

The first one is a pic of Muskrat that I posted way back in the early days. It was one of my first experiments in photoshop, especially the reflection in the water. It never received many comments, and it looks a little rough around the edges now, but I still like it:

This one I like because my wife took the pic I used for the background:

The next one is a fairly recent one I like because of the story it tells and because of it's simplicity; a simple set up and just a little photoshopped smoke for effect:

Again, the next shot is a recent one as well. The reason I included this was because I managed to make the little rockery in the corner of my back yard look like a vast mountain range just by choosing a low angle for the pic:

Another recent shot (see a trend here?). I chose this one just because I like to make things "fly":

The next one I like mainly for the satisfied look on Barrel Roll's face, and the way the foliage looks to scale:

Here's another one I like because it tells a story without the need for words:

Time for another older one now. Simple set, lots of figures, and my fave bit with the guy checking out his hair in the mirror:

This one I did as a special request for jaimanstone, and I just like the way it turned out, and how well the background works:

And this one earned it's place mainly because I climbed up on my garage roof to take it!:

I like this one for the blast effect and the troopers caught up in it:
http://www.joedios.com/dioramas/sho...r&imageuser=120

This one earns it's place for the fact that a few vehicles and figure can look like a huge army when photographed from the right angle:

Can't put my finger on the exact reason, but I just like this one:

This pic I like for the feeling of urgency, and the way the Neo Vipers look like they are moving forward through the rubble:

And finally, my all-time fave. Everything just came togethrt exactly how I wanted:

Enjoy!!

Thumbs up Awesome stuff as usual dude.

Awesome matey as usual.

I am particularly fond of the fact none of your shots seem to be aimed towards one specific thing, you've got a natural talent for recreating story based shots no matter what the environment, in the urban battles and conflicts to the jungle or high up in the air.. no matter what the challenge you've managed to do every shot brilliantly.

My favourites have always been the aircraft ones, but thats because of my own tastes and i'm really biased towards liking aircraft alot of them have me going woooah when i look at them now.

Thank you for sharing your top te-fifteen
