I really must apologise to you Craig.
For a long time now I have been lurking on the site and keeping up to date with things. However, I should have commented on this thread a long time ago. While I added a message of support to you on your first thread. This update has left me stunned and concerned.
Being something of a typical male, words have very much escaped me, finding words can be very difficult. Finding the right words can be even harder. I can only empathise with your situation. You, Deanne and your family have my best wishes and support. I wish there was something more I could say or do. Not that I have to type this because I know you well enough to know that you already will be in a determined mind set but nevertheless: keep your head up and keep fighting the good old fight!
In the near four years since Joedios brought us together I've known nothing but kindness, encouragement and friendliness from you. I'm sure I can honestly speak for everyone on the site in saying that they will share my observations and thoughts.
You are a true gentleman in every sense of the word and an inspiration to all of us and by that, I mean for more reasons than just your photography and photoshopping skills!
Please keep us updated.
GM Holden/HSV's 2nd biggest fan,
aka Dave.

I've been bouncing around the periphery of online Joe-fandom for the better part of a year but if anything's going to get me to come back to JD it's going to be offering my support & best wishes to you & yours, Craig. My mum only recently finished cancer treatment (successfully it would appear) so I have an inkling of how rough it can be, although I can't pretend to know what you're going through.
I'm also not great with the sentimental stuff, but I'd like to echo that you're an inspiration both creatively and personally. You've never given me cause to regard you with anything but the utmost respect and I'm proud to be associated with you. If everyone on the Internet, and in the "real" world, were to follow your example the society we live in would be improved exponentially. And there'd be a lot more cool stuff to look at.

She's been a tower of strength for me, but of course she's only human, and the stress is starting to show. I'm more worried for her than I am for myself. At least I can come here and be amongst friends, knowing you guys are behind me, and take my mind off things, even if just for a few moments.

You burden us with anything you want Craig, we are all here to support you through this. So if giving some the burden to us, your online friends helps in anyway take a little of the burden off of your wife, we all have big shoulders and a good majority of us have been touched is some way by cancer, me it was my father in law. Keep up the good fight, and my family and I continue to pray for you and your wife.

Update time. Was at the hospital all day yesterday to have a permanent line inserted into my arm for the chemo treatment, and then my first chemo session. I now have to wear a slow dose pump for a further two days before returning to the hospital to have it removed. This cycle repeats every two weeks. Thankfully, the side effects so far have been minimal, even non existent, and I probably feel as good as I have for weeks. Still a long way to go yet, and I don't want to jump the gun, but so far so good.

As a rather intermittent poster here, I saw all of the support in people's avatars and sigs and wondered what the deal was.
I'm so sorry to hear the news that I read in this thread. Stay strong and I'll be praying for you too man. Best of luck and keep fighting!
