I don't really equate the movie with why I like/buy gi Joe. I haven't even seen the movie yet but I have bought a bunch of the toys. They are totally different entities to me

I liked the movie.. it doesn't fit into my joeverse, but it was good entertainment. I buy the joe line b/c it fits into my personal joeverse. I occationally buy other lines, like Star Wars, only when I can make it blend into my joeverse.
But I did enjoy the movie and will go see the next one. My favorite part of the ROC movie was the COBRA logo on the side of the sub. At that brief moment I suddenly felt ... harmonious bliss.
