I think asking about a DDP-style Joe Colton (or anyone else) is a perfectly valid question, and helps Hasbro to see that there is an interest in characters & designs outside the Sunbow cartoon. You can't really dismiss it saying that DDP doesn't have the comics license any more, since Marvel hasn't had it either for over 10 years but they're still basing figures on those stories...!

Do you know (hasbro) that the O-ring buyers are disapointed with you?
Any Helicopter plans?
Eventually you will run off main characters. What will you do then?

Will upcoming vehicles and figures stay "realistic" looking or are there plans to make stuff with neon colors?
Any chance to get the comic 2pack Scarface AK-47 with future Cobra trooper releases?
Will you please re-release some awesome vehicles like the WHALE hovercraft, the Warthog APC and the Cobra Hydrofoil?

At the risk of sounding sarcastic, after reading Hasbro's replies, I wonder why we even write them anymore. It's like most of their answers are "We'll see", "There are no plans for that right now" or some other ambigious answer. Especially when it comes to the answers that detracters (READ;HATERS) of the 25th ask. In the old days, retailers were like Execs, they would give you straight answers, like "yes" and "no". These guys have become politicians. Why don't they just say "Unless TRU, Target or Walmart says ok, we're not gonna listen to you!"
It's like they're saying to us "No, there are absolutley no plans to go back to the classic line you spent thousands of dollars on, but we're hoiping our ambigious answers will keep your hopes up until you lose all hope in O rings and the like and convert to our new line. So, throw out that multi-million dollar uncompatible collection and start again because our new execs need Jaguars and Lexus just like the guys who kicked it in the '80's!"
I'm not gonna TOTALLY diss the 25th. I bought a few and I will still pick and chose a few if they look good enough or are new figures, but I'm NOT gonna start over. I'll wait for Con sets, over priced DTC wave four from MC and I guess buy DTC repaints from the Hulk collection!
Here's one;
Will hasbro use old DTC or VvsV molds for other toy lines like they did for "The Hulk"?

Exactly why I don't bother, Frank.

Ok gang.....the questions have been sent.
Questions were chosen based on their uniqueness-so as not to get the same questions answered that are sent from other boards.
Here are the questions that have been sent:
1) Will we be seeing a DDP version of Joe Colton in the 25th line of figures?
2) How do you pick which figure gets made for the 25th line?
3) Are the main Marvel comics the only Joe publishings slated for 2-pack treatment? I'd like to see some characters from some of the other books that have been released, like Frontline, America's Elite, "Declassified"s, either Special missions series, Master & Apprentice, or any of the newer story arcs from other publishers (the Joe/Transformer crossovers may be a bit of a stretch, but I'll mention those too).
4) Will hasbro use old DTC or VvsV molds for other toy lines like they did for "The Hulk"?
5) What are the chances of seeing larger playsets (Terror Drome, Flagg, etc.) or vehicles (including fighter planes) being released for this line or the movie line?
Once the answers have been sent to me, I'll post them up. Along with the answers to any of the other questions posted by members that have been answered by any of the other Joe Boards.
If anyone sees any answers on those boards that they think would be helpful to the members here at JoeDios......copy and paste them up in this thread......just be sure to tell us which board you got them from!!
