Did you guys see his whole display? Damn! That is Sweet. If you guys think that is junk, I'd LOVE see some of YOUR sets, because I'm impressed with that....I can't imagine how it coud get better.
I do agree that he is scamming with offering a bid on a comissioned work to get around the eBay fees.

Every set I make fits inside a 16" x 16" light box. Check it out here: http://www.joedios.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2829

There's no Doubt Vader that you have the Skills of a Dio Jedi-Master,but his full City Set isn't bad at all.I'd be very happy with it,but i'd much rather build it myself instead of buying it.That way I could add my own little touches on it to make it mine, and it would definitely be much more Gratifying when showing it off knowing I built it.And I also agree with everyone here that he's going about selling these in a Shady way,I can't understand why e-Bay lets it go.But my guess is they do make $$ from him,and a little $$ is better than no $$$.

See, from where I stand, you don't build sets like that. They are worthless. You build modular sets cuz honestly, unless you in a Jackie Chan flick, are you REALLY gone see a building cut apart like that? NO! You show level by level, floor by floor. It's no secret that when movie set builders make their sets, it's modular. You shoot an exterior for the outsides, then do interiors to show the guts. THAT building does both at the same time and it doesn't work from a fotographer's view. You can do MORE by making the room larger than it is AND manipulating the angles.
Course, if you have a war-torn area and have Space Marines shooting DOWN from 5th level to the ground leve when thugging Tyranids, THEN that set works. But for me, no. I've seen better. Far better. And that includes some of the Star Wars fan sets I've seen that make me sick!
And Frank, YOUR sewer set is sooooo much better than that building in ALL regards.
