The place just isn't the same without him. Thanks for not forgetting him, he was an inspiration to us all.

Thumbs up Outrider.

We lost our "Maestro", but we'll go on, with his spirit at our sides.

Thumbs up Outrider best pics

That was damn decent and and very honorable thing to do Jaime. By doing that people will not forget his awesome work and those who haven't seen it; will open to their eyeyes to the art of a true master. Awesome job!!!

Thumbs up

A couple weeks ago I was lucky and got three Outrider pics in the Random Images section. I feel sorry for the newer members who didn't get to see those pics the first time around, as a fresh Outrider pic was always a treat. He is STILL an inspiration to us all.

I am one of the newest newbies to this site, but I was 5 in 1982 and grew up with Joe. After seeing everyones "I support Outrider" add-ons to their avatars, I got curious and did some research here and what I found was heartbreaking-------his poor widow. Plus, he had talent for real. Sometimes when an artist passes away, their life's work can sometimes get (not to be mean) sort of over-rated, but this guy actually DESERVES all the kudos he's gotten! I actually did click on "See all of Outrider's Images" one day and went through ALL the pages of gems & I agree with Tracker's idea of making like a Hall-Of-Fame "wing" or section to this website for the Outrider.

I also think I commented on some of his pics when I first joined-up here, before I knew he had died. I meant no disrespect or pain to his wife, but rather just wanted to compliment the work, which I guess is called "bumping" his images, which to me seems more of an honor by keeping his memory/work alive than an insult of bringing up a sad topic, but I won't pretend to have ever met him in person or otherwise - a lot of you all knew him and some probably knew him real well, and I'll defer to whatever the veterans here feel is right to do regarding "bumping" an Outrider pic from now-on.

My heart-felt sympathies to his wife - that was very loving of you to take those Crimson Guard pics for him after he left - you are very honorable and loyal to him.

I dont think you did anything wrong. I would encourage new members to post their thoughts on any of his pics. He was always very encouraging of my pictures when I first started it seemed like he made it a point to comment on every pic put up. My guess is he still apreciates it.

...was and still is an inspiration. Last week when I was looking through FLIKR pics he has - same as here, I started writing a comment, but then looked up to see the name of the poster. With 1500 pics out there, I sometimes forget pics he has done.

For anyone who ever stumbles on this site and does not know what it is about - there should be a mandatory link for them to click to register - to see 10 random pics from Craig.

I was a lurker on the internet for about 4 years, just reading and watching and this last year - on various sites including this one, Craig was actually nice to me when I asked him a question. People like him motivated me to move out from the shadows and be more involved.

I'd like to think that maybe Craig unknowingly recruited the next "Outrider" (in comparable skill at least) due to his easygoing nature and openness, in addition to his incredible talent, to one of the fan sites to carry on his flame.
