Clone Wars is written a lot more intelligently and maturely than Resolute ever could hope to be. They don't need Resolute. They can do something else, something better.

Anyway, the figure designs for Resolute is way better than anything I've seen in ROC. I'm not talking the artistic stuff. I'm talking the engineering of the figures themselves. And so I really like and want more Resolute stuff.

Engineering? Well I'll admit I only have one of the three original Resolute figure molds, the Cobra Trooper's body on ROC Firefly, but I disagree nonetheless. Most of my ROC figures can hold their rifles with the butt of the stock against their shoulder like they would in real life (except for the larger-sized Pulse rifles, anyway), this Firefly cannot hold his rifle in such a way at all, yet the 25th Beachhead who came with the same rifle could. Don't get me wrong, I still like that Firefly, I just wish he could hold his rifle in a more proper way.

But, I guess I'm a different kind of fan. I can live with old and new. I still love ARAH, but that doesn't mean I can't like ROC. I love the old Generation 1 cartoon (moreso than the GIJoe cartoon, even as a kid I found it insulted my intelligence and asked for too much suspension of disbelief to buy an ELITE MILITARY GROUP having idiots like Shipwreck and Bazooka on the team), and I can live with it along with the Movies and Transformers: Animated. Likewise, I'm still a Hama fanboy but I love Rise Of Cobra just as much and I can live with two different "toy-verses", Real American Hero with all my classic O-ring guys and Rise Of Cobra with the new construction type.

OR proper support for it!

ANyway, JAY, thx for all the info.

The Resolute cartoon is dead. Hasbro said they're working on the "next generation" of the cartoon which implies it's not Resolute. The classic GI Joe mythos is dead. Now that Hasbro is in bed with the Hollywood money making machine, everything will be based on the movies. (I wonder how long it will be before the comics are canceled?)

I'm really disappointed, I liked Resolute. The cartoon was great for what it was, five minute episodes. I wish we could have seen what they could do with a regular series. The figures looked great and had excellent articulation. Resolute gave us Duke's first good figure!

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the Resolute 7-packs, it's the last of Resolute but something is better than nothing.
