You are a Gator fan in Knoxville - how is that working for you?

Probably not any better than being a Kentucky fan living in Memphis.

A friend of mine had a Tropic Traveller custom van with a $5000 custom Gator paint job that he used to travel to the away games. Back in the late 90s, when that putz Peyton Manning was still at UT, he took it to Knoxville. Those douche bags literally destroyed his van in the parking lot of the stadium. Thats the UT mentality towards the Gators.

I've been to a couple UT football games in knoxville, I hate going there!!! But the absolutely worst fans I've encountered were LSU fans. A couple years ago when they were #1 in the country they came into lexington and we (the cats) one. They were freaking out of control. I went to 4 bars that night and a huge fight broke out at all of them and to top it off, when we got back to my car (a dark blue 06 maxima that had wildcat magnets all over it) someone had kicked in all my doors and my quarter panels, nine grand worth of damage. Thanks for the insurance hike tiger fans!

The future might not be so bright when the Patriots get Tom Brady and the other injured players healed

The future looks VERY bright, injuries are just part of the game, the Dolphins top receiver had not played in weeks. The Dolphins will pick up a top-tier receiver in the off season and will be a powerhouse next year. The Dolphins are a young team, the Pats are getting old. They will be in Patriot-pounding form as in the past.

As far as Knoxville "Vols" fans go... they really aren't that bad, yeah you have the random group of college idiots, but over all they're ok. As for me... I live in the "upscale" city of Farragut (Knoxville suburb) where the average house goes for $400K+ (I got really lucky), so people don't care which team you cheer for as long as you keep quiet about it... ie, don't spray-paint your house blue and orange. I can't say I miss Florida... although I miss the pool, but people here are actually friendly (outside of football season).
