Let's put it this way. I got a Guitar Center Credit Card.

I bought a Line6 Spider112 on it.

When I paid that off (albeit quickly), I bought THAT guitar.

A bit over $500 after tax.

But for the record, my bass sells for about $100-$150 now (Fender Squire2) and the classical I have is a Fender (that was around $400 when I got it, over 15 years ago. The Fender is trashed and the classical has a hole in the body. Not sure how the hole got there. Happened sometime in college. My buddies were like, "hey, when did this happen?" I sure didn't ever notice.

My dream guitar would be a Jackson Explorer (I think that's who makes 'em). It's a James Hetfield thing. BTW, I CAN'T play a Flying V.

I poked around more; I'd apparently only been looking at the "fresh tabs" before... There do seem to be a hell of a lot more there than there first appeared! Admittedly it looks like you can't browse, only search by band or song, but that's a relatively minor gripe. I'll just have to start keeping a list of songs I'd like to play the bass line for!
