yeah, so do i, but as you said when the screw is totally stripped you have no other choice. i have never messed up a figure doing the drill method. i guess it all depends on how slow you take it, how steady your hand is and some luck. try everything else first, but if nothing works, which a lot of the time the screw is to far gone, then you have to resort to the drill.

The drill method worked only once for me, on the first time I tried it.
I tried it twice afterwards and I got the figure open, but ruined the torso.

Hi Guys I wanted to let you know how I made out, I tried each of your suggestions during the week and the one that finally worked for me in this case was the drill!!!  I think if the screw wasn't so rusty & weak the other methods would have worked too!!!  I want to thank everyone again for they're comments & Suggestions!!!  I really appreciate it!!!
