Thumbs up Ship Ahoy!

Hello Dudes!,
Last week my grandad took the time to visit and display his sturdy vessel that he'd been working on for 5 months. It's a R/C one but actually he wanted to test this on the water of our paddling pool
A test of buoyency (not sure if this is a word) was needed and to check for leaks. Anyways this was on Saturday, He connected up the battery and so forth and I was ready with my digital camera to shoot the action. However my dad shouted "FIRE!" and plumes of smoke were emitting from the ship.. (this was his first test and the Interceptor craft he'd been working on).
So we all finished the day disappointed. I'd of hoped to have got a picture of shipwreck on the open waves.
Sunday came around.. and he brought his first ever attempt at R/C craft to the house. Twice in one weekend he'd visited.. you could definately tell it was summer!

So this new ship was quite something apparently the Interceptor he was working on had bad wiring or something. So we tried out this one instead. Another bad hook up later and apparently the Speed Controller to the vessel was BURST!

So with that being the end of the weekend's action.. I decided if I couldnt actually get shipwreck on the open waves of our paddling pool I wanted to at least get him aboard.
Please note this isn't my shipwreck figure.. it's my grandad's own GIJOE.. I think he's the coolest grandad in the world!!
These are the two pictures I managed to get.
Shipwreck on the Boat.

Shipwreck by the Flag.
