When looking on Ebay look at what Cobra Freak did. he was able to get some figs at a good price. Sometimes the seller doesn't know what their worth and will sell for a low price. Be patient, sometimes the fig or vehicle won't be there. www.joearmory.com is another place to look. Eventually your figure will come up and be on sale. Stay within a budget. Set a budget for what you what you want to spend. You always have time later to pick up more stuff. For Roc guys and gals the price of those figs are being marked down. Wait until the price is good for you. For those who want BBI or 21st or Bravo Team www.smalljoes.com is a good place to go. Also Ebay is a good place to go. However make sure bids are low. Never start a bid at a 100 dollars. Find out what the maximum is you are willing to spend and don't go over. Another fig or vehicle will appear again.If a fig comes loose and the joints are a little loose. you can always get new o rings and screws.
