Comicbook movies seemed to peak with X2 - anything that's come since, I could provide a short essay explaining what I find flawed, from a comic-geek perspective and just as a movie in itself

And TF:TM has been just under Star Wars in my favourite movies since 1986 - I have a worn out videocassette and soundtrack tape, and currently have the original US DVD, the UK "Reconstructed" DVD, and fully intend to get the new 20th anniversary edition too! I like how it pulls no punches in the name of promoting the new toys, killing off the old ones - no last-minute dub here, when the Autobots are standing around Optimus, with Arcee saying he's gone into a coma...
