What prompted you to get started creating them? And, as a follow-up, how time-consuming is it: How long to write, photograph, set build, photoshop, etc.?

I'm thinking about trying it out, but I'm not sure if I have the time to do it. Also, I have a pretty short attention span for this kind of thing; I may get bored half-way through
