We start at Marvel’s #1 and move thru the series every Wednesday. It’s a chance to give your thoughts, opinions and remarks about the comic in question. #20. Home Is Where the War Is ~Short Summary~ Clutch goes on leave, and finds out his best friend is in the unwilling employ of Cobra. ~Notes of Interest~ One of the very few issues not written by Larry Hama. Tells a lot about the life of Clutch. The most glaring difference was the use of thought balloons... I do put the link directly to the summary of each issue under them. Just so that if you find yourself away from your collections, it's an easier access to do a quick read through............

Flint Lady 'J's #1 Man!! Offline --> Posts: 7,849 --> Join Date: Dec 2006	This was one of my favorite stand alone issues!!! I Loved the fact they gave Clutch time in the spotlight, I wish they would have done it more with so many characters!!!

maxtype Veteran Offline --> Posts: 392 --> Join Date: Mar 2007	This isn't one of my favorites...............but I'm biased-it's not the story or art quality that bothers me...........it's WHERE they scheduled it as a fill-in.......between the AWESOME #19 and INCREDIBLE #21...............I realize that Hama needed extra time 'cuz he did the breakdowns on #21................ It is a fun issue-I like the part where Clutch knocks the house off it's foundation with the car................

lehsreh G.I. Smurf Offline --> Posts: 3,446 --> Join Date: Jan 2006	i cant say anything bad about the old issues. it was issues like these that really let me know who clutch was and got me liking him. in the cartoon, which was my only joe outlet until 3 years ago, clutch was a nobody.

Actually, Hama broke his own "no thought bubbles" rule at least once. In the post Cobra Civil War issue after a motorist yells at Roadblock, he thinks "He wasn't even driving American iron!" Or something like that.

I'm not opposed to non-Hama issues, but issue 20 was a forgettable issue, really. Belt jet packs?
