Joe, I think I know why you say that, because we want to keep things open and friendly to new people. It's nice here right now.

The problem is though, what if something happens? What if someone posts porn on here? Or we get overrun by spam or spambots? What if a troll comes on who won't respect any of our rules?

Nate only signs on every now and then, other than that this is basically a town without cops.

Agreed. I want this to be a fun, relaxing place to come to & share in our love of the line. There has to be some moderators in place, though, for those situations that Nekoman mentioned. BW basically did what he's doing here on the FB site; when he was called out for spamming with Lanard store displays & selfies, his response was, basically, go tell the moderator (along with "haters gonna hate"; that gradeschool level of comeback is why I've not engaged him here); the problem there was that Nate wasn't really checking in on things, for whatever reason. It was only after BW was spammed back on his posts that he stopped (although, I eventually just blocked him altogether).

We don't need someone ruling here with an iron fist, but we do need some people to keep some semblance of order.

This is why it's important to be specific and constructive. The original post comes off as derogatory and snarky, when the intention behind it was to improve the site. Specificity may have saved some sore feelings and defensiveness. Now that the true meaning of Christmas has been revealed, the dialogue has begun. I agree that posters need to exhibit self control, follow the 3 photos rule and "stay on target." This is not the place for stuffed animals, but I appreciate RELATED toy lines.

No sore feelings on my part; I just want this site to continue to be what it was intended to be, which is to be the best Joe dio site on the 'net. I've enjoyed coming here for years to get my Joe fix & hope to continue to for many years.

We need some mods. At this point he's becoming a troll. This is not a dumping ground for your non joe spam.
