Curiosity Tally: Cobra or Joe?
Are you a Joe or Cobra fan? Who was/ is your favorite figure?
I am a Joe fan. Always have been. Loved Gung Ho and Roadblock-roughnecks. Overall favorite figure was actually LT. Falcon even though he came out much later. I thought a Green Beret in green fatigues was pretty sweet-still do. New favorite (I think) is Airborne.
Growing up, there were twins who lived across the street. They were definite Cobra fans. They were spoiled too, they had cobra vehicles galore, tons of cobra figures, even the cobra base. I just stockpiled Joes. Worked out quite well for all of us.

I'm a Headhunter.
Seriously though, I suppose I lean towards Cobra, at least these days. The Cobra figures always seemed a little more interesting, plus you can do a lot more with your imagination with them. A Cobra wouldn't look that out of place in a SW or Star Trek playset for example, but Joe... Wouldn't blend as well IMO.

Both, I think one is vastly deficiant without the other and they both make each other work.
For faves: Cobra: Firefly (but not the Renegades version, sorry) For Joe: Beachhead

Great Question!!
I know it's non-commital, but I'm 50-50 (like with music - I don't care what genre it is as long as the singer/band puts their heart into it and they have talent, lots of stuff sounds good to me) each side had great characters.
As a kid though my favorite all-around character (regardless of affiliation (although Tommy has turns with both sides) in terms of the Cartoon, Comic, and Action Figures was Storm Shadow, but I liked Low-Light & Blowtorch from the Joes.
If we're just talking Sunbow Cartoons, then Chris Latta's GENIOUS as Cobra Commander is unparalleled.
If we're talking Marvel 1-155 run, probably the cliche, yet deserving choice of Snake-Eyes.
