Arrow Pic of my son on his sandbox sand pile

We got a truckload of sand dumped on my driveway for his sandbox in the backyard. Here he is standing on it before I wheelbarrowed it to the backyard.

It's perfect for up-close desert scenes.

That is one lucky kid to have a sandbox that big. I just hope you don't have any cats in the neighborhood. Trust me, I used to find surprises in my sandbox everyday from the cats.

We have a solidly fenced in yard, but I did see a cat in my yard about a year ago, and scared it off. He actually had a hard time escaping and eventually squezzed through a crack in the fence.

Hey, that's exactly how I filmed all the desert scenes in RESURRECTION. We bought a load of sand to "fill in" spots in our backyard and help the grass grow.

Yea, right. We bought it so I could build a desert.

You should have called in some noks to help you haul all that sand.
