I won't desist. I will ask for them until I see the return of the rings or til I...

It took me many years to own a lot of GI Joe figures from the 80's that I didn't have when I was a child. I didn't quit. Now I have many (not all) the Joes I like.

Ok, I will not make more questions about O-rings. But I will keep asking Hasbro to produce ol' school figures.

You may well be correct about o-rings never coming back (and I suspect you are), but I don't think we should be dismissive of anyone's questions. That one is a question more than a few people would like answered, and they certainly have a right to ask. Whether it makes the final cut or not is up to the mods. Remember, there's no stupid questions, only stupid answers. Other than that, how do you define a "real" question?

A bit late, but anyway

I read through those questions, but I must say, that my point of view is very close to Frank's...

You know, a friend of mine - collecting almost every series of toys (then selling it out after a month or so, but nevermind) - was a bit turned on by Joes and bought four sets of Viper Pit, Cobra Imperial Procession and Joe Heavy Assault. To make long story short - when he was selling the stuff, I bought 5 Vipers from the pit set, but didn't believe much in his saying that they are a bit junky.
Well - I got them in my hands...

Why, for heaven's sake Vipers were:
- unable to move their heads?!
- had somehow springing legs, that could be positioned ONLY to make figure stand straight?!
- having a spots of paint here and there

It's a question of quality and WHAT comes to the customers. Jeez, he got it straight from the US, so a history, that stuff which is exported to other countries is of lower quality is out.
You know, I'm also a modeller, so I picked my scalpel and in hour's time i trimmed some STRANGE plastic from the ball head (yeah. Ball head. Which was casted in a way, that disabled moving it in ANY direction), and I also trimmed a LOT of plastic in the crotch part, which was blocking legs and the fastening hook...

Ok - now the Vipers are in perfect shape, like the old ones. But, can anyone tell me, why is it so? Why I'm forced to spend additional hour of trimming and cutting to have a figure of decent quality? If it was a one time flaw... But I seriously doubt if any of the so called major Hasbro lines are made better.

In such case - I'm not buying 25th's - because I don't like them. I'm not into Sigma 6. And so - I will NOT be buying newer releases - even based on old moulds - because they suck.
I'm only saved by all those, who sell the good, old Joes. Which are pricey and it's quite hard to make a little army building. Especially with budget of about $150 per half a year for Joes. (Ok. $100. Count out the s&h)

What a pity... Those Pit Vipers were a nice idea - why, instead of giving such junk, they haven't thought of SAW Vipers Pit or others?

Yes, I know I got lenghty, but this bothers me a lot. I would love to ask anyone from Hasbro 'bout that, but they won't bother answering I'm afraid.

Or maybe I'm the unlucky guy who got this cursed pieces? (Yeah, I bought 5 out of 24 and ALL of them were faulty :P )

Exclamation Answers are in!!

Hot of the presses..........here's the answers to our latest list of questions....

1) Will we be seeing a DDP version of Joe Colton in the 25th line of figures?

There are currently no plans for Joe Colton to appear in the 25th.

2) How do you pick which figure gets made for the 25th line?

The design team comes up with a recommendation and then the team discusses the options. We take into account which figures are the most popular with fans, would look cool, and fit with the rest of the line.

3) Are the main Marvel comics the only Joe publishings slated for 2-pack treatment? I'd like to see some characters from some of the other books that have been released, like Frontline, America's Elite,"Declassified"s, either Special missions series, Master & Apprentice, or any of the newer story arcs from other publishers (the Joe/Transformer crossovers may be a bit of a stretch, but I'll mention those too).

The plan right now is to do marvel 2-packs and brand new comics written
by Larry Hama.

4) Will hasbro use old DTC or VvsV molds for other toy lines like they did for "The Hulk"?

There are no current plans for this, but anything is possible down the line.

5) What are the chances of seeing larger playsets(TerrorDrome, Flagg, etc.) or vehicles (including fighter planes) being released for this line or the movie line?

There will not be any playsets in the anniversary line. For the movie,we will try and put out a line that does justice to the 80's as well as
deliver an awesome play experience for kids.

Questions were sent based on the variety between all the active G.I. Joe boards...sending the same question 14 times with different wording is still the same question.

And I'm sure that the person who originally asked the question is pleased that it was submitted, even if the answer is not what they were hoping for.

"No current plans...anything's possible..." Now, where have I heard those answers before? Oh yeah, from the last lot of questions! Thanks for the 2 seconds it took you to write them, Hasbro!

Copy and paste answers AGAIN.

We should ask them if they have the necesary brain to elaborate a little more their answers, or at least Hatebro should give us a list of available questions.
