To all my friends here on JoeDios, sorry I have not responded to any of your pictures lately. I had to go to the hospital a couple of weeks back. I am on some serious pain meds, so I hope this comes out OK, my head has been in a fog. I have had several teeth come loose over the last few months. I got a infection in the bones of my jaw somehow and it moved into my sinus cavity. I was in such pain I could not get out of bed for 2 days. I was taking BC powders, I took a 50 pack of them in 48 hours and got asprin poisoning on top of all this. I lost my hearing in both ears, my wife took me to the emergency room. Come to find out the bones in my upper & lower jaws have decinigrated and the only thing holding in my teeth are my gums. I am going to have to have 2 surgeries and will loose all of my teeth. I am only 40 and will have to wear dentures. I am self employed and have no insurance on top of all this, and have to pay before any work will be done. Needless to say this is putting a hurting on my family. I have been looking at all of the fine picures posted over the last couple of weeks and will respond to them when I am able to concentrate better. I am also looking forward to getting back & taking some of my own pics & posting them. I just have not been up to it here lately. I just wanted to say thanks to all of my friends here & I have not forgotten you. Dave

wow bud, thats a hard thing to respond to, there is no way any words I say will make a difference, but non the less; My prayers are with you and I wish the best for you and your family. That is a crazy chain of events, and I hope you find a crazy way to over come it all. Get better Dave, best of luck, if there is something I can help you with, I'll do what I can.

Dave, like Cory said it's difficult to know what to say other than I'm really sorry to hear how sick you have been, and you have my best wishes and prayers for a full and speedy recovery. I hope you feel better soon., if anyone knows about infected teeth & gums it's me! Just ask the guys around Yojoe, or even gijock or stormer.. I'm in a similar situation (albeit not as painful) I don't have anything to back me up so any work i have done will need to be paid for by myself.

I began selling off all my GIJOE stuff a while back so that i could afford to have important work done on my teeth & gums.
I had two infected teeth removed in March, I too didn't do much for so long as I struggled to get over the pain.

I do hope you come through this and we hope to see you posting up on here again and becoming an active member again soon!

Thanks to all you guys. I have been feeling a little better today, I don't know if I am really feeling better or if the meds are working. Got off my butt & posted a picture tonight, nothing relaxes me more than my toys. My first surgery is schedualed for May 13th, not looking forward to it, but I can't wait to get this all over with. You guys rock & thanks again. Dave

I've had severe migraines, sore throat, sore palate, sneezing, blowing my nose every second, and a super runny nose for more than a week. these sporadic migraines make me want to rip out my face but Dave, your fortitude is giving me strength to overcome this cold. thanks.
