Lights, Cameras, Cobra
Shipwreck is my favorite in the cartoons, hands down. This episode shows just why. When he saves Dusty and Recondo from the coyotes by throwing one down the ravine and follows up with a Roadrunner-esque "Meep meep"....I loves it. Then after getting captured by Cobra, despite being bound and blindfolded, he still tried to take out every mofo around him. Just too cool.

My all-time faves are the first two mini-series. As far as stand-alone episodes, my favorite is Haul Down the Heavens, and I also like Cobra Stops the World and Excalibur. Basically any episode with Duke in full-on Cobra kickin' action gets high marks in my book. I also love eps where Duke and Flint work together, which are rare since mostly they weren't in episodes together as they both usually filled the "alpha male" role.

I like "The Traitor" where Dusty pretends to sell out the Joes and the only one who knows the truth is Duke, but he gets injured and is unconcious/comatose (seems like Conrad takes more than his fair share of "sick leave", but I digress).
In the end everything is made right. Of course.
Except for the fact they call him Dusty Rudat, when his real name is Ronald Tadur. My guess is the writer of the episode suffered from temporary dyslexia, or... more likely had a reverse image piece of artwork featuring Dusty and just read the name off his uniform...instead of taking the time to read a filecard.
Anyway, it was a 2-part episode, and featured Crimson twins, bribery, Dusty trying to care for his sick mother, evil pharmaceutical/insurance company reps... and a good story plot.

Fave Ep.
I really enjoyed the first 2 mini-series eps and the Rise of Serpentor ones. Actually, I think my all-time favorite episode was during the Serpentor arc...Low Light, Beachhead and Sgt. Slaughter go to a Dreadnoks rally, where Zartan recruits Monkeywrench (who, in my opinion, was a genius in the way he handled the brawl, by standing back and blowing up the competition) and Thrasher (with his Thunder Machine). I love Low Light and this episode kind of spot-lighted him. Also, the episode where Dr. Mindbender was toying with the Joes' dreams and Low Light was the one that saved everybody. Great episode. Really kind of stuck close to Hama's filecard for him.

I don't remember the name of the episode, but it's the one where Cobra creates a device that gives all the Joes nightmares. Then, Lowlight saves the day because he's had a lifetime of bad dreams, and knows how to control them.
