News And Rumors
i thought that most of us are into more then just joes. so a news and rumors thread would be great. for example stuff like upcoming games, movies and comics. anyone know anything new about maybe a new transformers movie, the fan joe movie or any other cool comic or sci-fi movie, this is the place to let the rest of us know about it.
anyone know anything about the other pirates movie? there are supposed to be more, but anyone know any news. how about a new resident movie? i know a new hulk movie is being made, or already made. with norton as banner. its not part 2 of the junk we got a few years ago. anyone have any idea who the villain is? post away, let us in on the gossip.

just so everyone knows, Dukes been cast and he's going to be played by actor Channing Tatum, i went over to IBDM to see his work and he hasn't appeared in a lot of films in fact he's only been in three plus the guy's only about 27 years old give or take i was really hoping for a more seasoned actor but oh well

it is confirmed that larry hama will be a creative consultant for the new joe movie. still, can he even help with all the damage done? also, it is now known that David Murray(whoever he is) is now cast as destro. and in case anyone missed it, Arnold Vosloo(the guys who played the mommy) is cast as zartan. at first i wasnt happy about vosloo, but now that i think of it, he can pull it off , and the murray guy, it is said that he acts on stage. who better to portray the nobility of destro... im still thinking its going to suck

If anyone watches 24, Arnold Vosloo also played Marwan, the terrorist leader in season 4. He was definitely one of 24's cooler villains.
And with regards to Larry Hama as a creative consultant on the movie-- As I recall, Simon Furman, who is more or less the Transformers' version of Hama, was signed as a consultant on the TF movie. I believe he said he met with the producers once, very early in production, tossed some ideas out there, and then never heard from them again... So unfortunately, I wouldn't expect much, if any, actual contributions from Larry Hama with regards to the movie.

Idw Comic Restart
didnt want to start a new thread for this so i posted it here, but the idw joe comics will more then likely be a restart. when asked about hearing that it would be a restart the idw guy didnt not say no, so im guessing it is. here is the link
http://comicnewsi.com/article.php?c...08&itemid=11729
im all for it i guess. Qk and lady J alive. none of that stupid ninja force or snake eyes killing everyone in the cobra consulate building to get to CC and then letting him live will have happened. i just hope they start with a already established team, taking inot account that we all already know who everyone is.

JUST SAW THIS ABOUT THE CARTOON
http://www.warrenellis.com/?p=6147
HATE THE WAY HE SEEMS TO THINK ITS OK THAT HE KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT GI JOE. HE EVEN SAYS IT HAS NO MEANING I HIS LIFE. POMPOUS A@@HOLE.
ALSO, IF THERE WILL BE SOME KEY CHARACTERS BEING KILLED, A SPINOFF WOULD SUCK. I REALLY WISH THEY WOULD KILL SNAKE EYES OFF ONCE. THEN HASBRO WILL HEAR THE ROAR OF EVERYONE WHO LIKES HIM, AND MAYBE THEY WILL UNDERSTAND HOW THOSE OF US WHO LIKE THE OTHERS WHO HAVE BEEN KILLED FEEL. BUT NO, CANT KILL HIM, DOESNT MATTER IF THEY KILL OFF ANYONE ELSE NO MATTER IF 4 OF THEM KILLED WERE YOUR FAVORITE CHARACTERS.

I rather liked the little article he wrote to fill us in, I like the concept of what he is doing and even though he kinda trashed g.i. joe with his blasphemy, I think it could really bring some new life into the joe story. and like marcos said, his is a good comic writer.
