Augh! Giant sigs!
There appears to be a problem as of late with people using gigantic sigs images...
Now I dunno about you guys, but I don't like reading image comments and having to go past all these giant "Urban Saboteur-style" sigs that are three times as big as the posts themselves, or having to scroll sideways because the sig image is so wide it's stretching the page out.
Isn't there any way to maybe enfore some limitations on how big the sig images can be? Like something like 200 pixels in height and 500 pixels in width? This'd give us something nicely sized like this:
See, it's nice and big, yet not excessively so.

Jay, you'll be pleased to know I have reduced the size of my signature.

I don't have a problem with it. I like the fact that some people are VERY creative and like to show it. I guess there's always one in the group.

You can be creative yet still keep your sig at a reasonable size, you know. Look at Craig's, it's the same but now it fits into the screen.

I'm with Jay on this one. The giant signatures seem a bit much. I don't mind width so much, but that's because I'm on a laptop at 1920x1200 resolution... But the height is what gets me. That's why I made my own sig long but not very tall.

I'd hardly consider your sig long.
Another reason to cut down on sig size would be to cut down on filesizes. Not everyone is on DSL, and the bigger the image the longer it takes to load. Size restrictions result in smaller images in the sigs so all the connection speed can be spent loading the actual dio image.

You know..
You know I'll gladly change my signature size, upon creation of the signatures and the how to section I did ask administration about what the limit would be.. because their isn't an actual limit.. i don't see what the fuss is about.
I quite like my sig, plus if I resize this one.. it will mean firefly will have a majorly squashed head..
If theres a geniune limit on height and width then let the admin/mods enforce it. Until this is agreed upon mine stays as it is.

I'm behind you all the way on this Rich. If they didn't set a limit then why complain.
