Default Restoration Project! "The Jenny"

So, Frank sent me this lil dealie. It's a Moray, it needs some love, and there's plenty of Shane to go around ;-)

There's not alot missing, but she is DIRTY!

There is only one missle for this rack, and it needs to be fixed

The Turret needs to be totally replaced, and the gun is missing.

There's only one torpedo, and it's seen better days

The front end clips are broken, and once cleaned and painted will probably have to be glued into place

Again, she's REALLY dirty, and needs a good soak and a clean.

So, what are my plans? I'll buy the lil bits I need over Ebay for cheap, and here's my big plan, to totally repaint it and make it a Joe boat. I have ideas which I've talked with Craig and Frank about, Craig had a TON of painting tips for me. I'll keep everyone updated as the boat progresses, but I plan to be workin on this baby for a while. Enjoy!

Looks like a fun project! I should have a go at something like this; it'd probably be the only time I'd be able to say I'd bought a battered old speedboat and was fixing it up!

Incidentally, I've got 2 missiles for that rack and a depth charge if you're interested. Also, somewhere, I've got the tuning fork-looking thingies in this picture:

along with a double-pipe-thing they're attached to, but as it's only in the last 5 minutes I've even discovered they're Joe parts I have no idea where I put them...

Shane PM me with what you need, because I pretty sure I've got some extra parts. Free of charge.
