Default Arming your Joe forces

Since the beginning, Joes and Cobra has always had a vast selection of weapons. From the real-world and realistic to the, well, non-realistic each figure usually came with a weapon of choice.

So, that being said, I want to know how other Dio-makers use weapons for there figures. Do you keep the same weapon for the figure? Buy new ones? Take my Cobra Paratroopers (Retaliation Troopers, but I never see them as actually troopers) for example. I hated those weird weapons they came with. Instead, I used a bunch of Power Team Elite weapons, which worked pretty well for the figures. So, what about everyone else?

Mix of stuff...mostly it's Marauder Inc stuff, bbi, and rare a Hasbro gun unless it is "iconic": Flash's laser rifle, Dreadnok weapons, Cobra blue shirt cartoon rifle and flip flop on Viper rifles.

Few if any have original weapons.

Default Weapons

Agree with pbarney. My forces rarely use the original weapons they came with unless they are specialzed and mission-specific. I also order most of my weapons from Marauder GunRunners

And the Joes have their own armory to keep their weapons in.

Yeah, I need to get some new weapons. Though I've never used Marauder, but I hear the quality is amazing.

I've usually been a "whatever the figure came with" person, unless they just cannot hold it. But i'm not as military-minded as some collectors.

Never ordered from Marauder. I have a weapon or two from them I got via an ebay auction.

How are the berets? Soft plastic or what? Why don't they offer helmets? Seems like there'd be a demand for those.

The berets are hard plastic and small. They fit modern heads okay, but not if they have too much hair. I'm not sure about the helmets; I agree that Cobra helmets in particular would be pretty popular.

The latest selection of Marauder weapons (wave 6) is insanely detailed, but the grips are larger. Newer figures should be able to hold them, but ARAH vintage will require some trimming down. The products are outstanding, the shipping fast, and the owner friendly. I never hesitate to buy from Marauder John.
