Need setting ideas for a modular base
Im sure by now most of you realize Ive been recycling the same background for all of my shots. Im planning on finishing my 4th wall for that set, and restoring it to a barracks. From that I'd like to connect it to other locations inside a base. My next project will be an armory/range. Im also drawing up plans for a Command Center, Gym (with Locker Room), lounge, mess hall, lounge/day room(enlisted/NCO), Officers Lounge, external Motorpool, conference room, and the Commanders Office. Can anyone help with other ideas of anything else to include?

Here is a link to my initial plan for an indoor range/armory. I want some feedback on what looks like it will work, and what needs to be changed. The armory is loosely based off of the arms room at my last posting.

Looking good to me!!
What's the front part of the room? Is it like a briefing room? I can't wait to see what you come up with!!!

back when I started my modular COMMAND CENTERS the hardest part to design was the Command & Control room, (there's so much going on there, so that's where you should start.

Building sets is fun! but you have to remember rule number one! Did i leave myself enough room for a lens? Do i have room to shoot! i try to leave a loose wall if making a four wall set! Or make the roof removable! But as any base you want a rec room, sleeping courters, armory, command center, Detention center, and a conference room! I try not to get to overly complicated! complications lead to frustrations my theory is keep it simple! my two cents!

Ok, before I can start the overall layout, I need to know what kind of base should I make. Above ground, or below. Is it a secret facility, or a known military complex. I really wanna see what I can do, and push my comfort zone. I wanna build a base that the forum members think rocks. So I need your input, what do you wanna see?

I may be alone but i'd love to see a training base, be it for greenshirts/steel brigade, or new cobra troops, I'd love to see something like a training center.

Kind of like a remote outpost? It has potential. It would be smaller than a standard base, with a small handful of cadre. I could even seperate it into seperate buildings. It has potential.
