It gets stuck from time to time, but it does a lot better than I thought it would. I set up some small obsticle courses in my apartment and there were a few times it couldn't make the transition from the kitchen floor to the living room carpet, so I didn't know how it'd do in the real world. Now I just need to get a Mauler and race the two.

I collect action figures, turning my mind to the hunt, so that I might find a mote of peace... Over the years, I've found that alcoholism is much more socially acceptable by far.

This was kinda neat. I didn't realize it could actually roll over stuff that well! Good motor in it!

What was weird was that it'd go over something I figured it get hung up on, but get hung up on easy looking objects. It does have a low ground clearance compared to a real tank, so it'll get high centered

I vote for this one! Your YouTube hits would go up a million.

My MOBAT must've been worn out. I got it second hand back in '85, and my Mauler ran circles around it. But I wasn't big on the motorization in the first place. I pulled the batteries from both of them cos I got tired of them running onto the wall of my bedroom five seconds after I'd turn them on. Was fun running over BATs, though. Unscrew the torso and they kindof explode when hit.

My Mobat was never that fast. I had the 1985 version. I now have the 1998 version too, along with the CAT MKI and CAT MKII. It's funny...every one of those motors have different output. One of my CAT MKI's is Real fast, but no torque....the Mauler is slow, but can climb 70% inclines...I think power in these little motors is a crapshoot!
