Default New Idea! This Thursday: Re-Makes!

Greetings all
I've had an idea rumbling around in my mind for some time now.

Now I love Wacky Wednesdays, Weekend Warriors, Target Range and concepts where you have to create a picture out of an idea. And its a nice way to focus some of those creative energies we all seem to have in this place.

Sometimes people miss out on the weekend, or the Wednesday when they were out doing real life stuff (I know a tragedy, but real life does tend to sneak up on us!), so I had this idea -
Re-makes!
Re-makes of pictures already on this page. Sometimes people see a picture and realize that they could do better, or get inspired by it to do something similar but not the same (with different characters maybe?) . Or like I said before they miss out on a wacky Wednesday or a weekend warriors which they wanted to participate in. - I think its a perfect way to get to do that one thing we couldn't do because of time or circumstance.

People don't really have to dig through any pictures to post. I know some people (like me) always want to re-do a shot if they get inspired or if they see something wrong with their original shot.

Here is an example of what I was thinking:

original shot by Mysterious Stranger

I'm thinking the set up would be something like:

new title of the picture (or the same with a twist)
picture
description with kudos to the original picture taker and link to the original.

- The picture doesn't have to be side by side like I did here, but some reference to the original shot (and owner) should be mentioned, after all they gave you the great idea!

So what do you say guys and gals? Want to give Re-makes a go?
Lets see if someone gets inspired this Thursday!

Question Interesting..

This should definately be interesting.. the aspect I like here is that your asking members of the forum to give credit to the original poster which merges the two pictures as one subject, just seen from each persons different angle perspective.

The second great thing about this is, Target Range can get very competitive can't it, so if a member misses out on a date for the month, they can get involved in Re-Makes and Wacky Wednesdays.. thus keeping their involvement in the forum up.

I like it , I wonder what the others think? ..

I'm hoping this will catch on, as there have been plenty of times when I've kicked myself for making a picture and find something wrong at a later date - or someone posts some comment and makes me realize what a huge mistake it was.
I guess I like to fix things, but also there is so much talent on this site for telling a story with just one picture that I often get inspired and want to do my take on it.

I hope I'm not the only one

It doesn't need to be replicated a different spin on it or somebody else version maybe - or just inspired by: What happened next The possibilities are almost endless
