I used to be into Playmobil Pirates. The stuff is a little small for Joes, plus it can be pretty pricey.

The accessories work very well. Most of the furniture (especially chairs) sit too low for Joes but the playsets and accessories work quite well.

It is expensive stuff though.

My son got a Playmobil castle for Christmas and it works great for Joes. I wonder what my wife would do if I "weathered" the jail doors (they are molded in bright red). But the castle itself is in a pewter/gray sort of color and looks good. It has a chain looking door opening, a breakaway entrance, two jails (although I think one is for storing weapons). Also it comes with little torches.

But I agree, a lot of it is a little off scale, and a bit pricey.

A mixed bag, really, some stuff are in scale, others not. Price as mentioned above, is a concern and some of the Playmobile stuff really shows that it is plastic and doesn't look realistic enough for joes
