selling my 25th crimson guards
i went today and found 5 CG's. that brings my total to 8, with the new high command and comic pack i will have 11, and 2 old school CG's. i dont need that many as CG's are the elite and you do not see that many in a fight. that being the case i am going to sell the ones i bought today to pay for the other joes i want/need. i havent opened them, so if your looking for some CG's take a look. i know a lot of you on here are not in the US, so i will ship outside the US. ill just have to go to the post office and see what it will cost.

Big L... Dude... that's practically false advertising. You are showing pics of 5 CGs but only selling one. I know it's buyer beware (ie; READ WHAT IS WRITTEN!!!), but man... at first look, it looks like you have 5 lots of 5 CGs. I'd help ya out with just 1 CG, but I'm not a fan of bidding wars. I'd pay cost and shipping tho.

I know your intentions are good, but most people selling on ebay, if they only have 1 to sell, they shoot a picture of JUST 1 item. IF they are selling a bunch of 'em, but throwing 'em in single auctions, they'll use the same picture. Otherwise, when one cruises ebay and see a bunch of the same figure, they'll automatically assume that it's for ALL the figures, despite what is written. I'd hate to see people bid on it and then go after you when the auction is over realizing it's only 1 CG, not 5 (as pictured).
This is, of course, slightly different than the guys who sell video game console BOXES who are usually trying to take advantage of the stupid.
I think you can change pictures AND you can description while the auction is active. I've had to do it before.

Big L, that looks so much better. Now here's where I'm not so sure about the psychology of selling. Will you get more if you sold the lot of 5 starting at 99 cents or selling each one at 99 cents? I've heard that you can get more for a lot, but I'm guessing, your best case scenario would be $10 per figure, right? Maybe $12/figure? Hope to double what you paid for it?

i had actually thought of that, but this was there is more of a chance of others getting at least one. like i said, i only want to get the money i paid and maybe a buck more, that will pay for a future figure.

I had always hoped that I could get back shipping too. But I always ship at a lower cost so I never seem to win by a large amount. Frustrating. But uh... I bet you'd have someone buy the lot of 5. At that point, it becomes a situation of, "Do I want to pay the S&H 5x instead of 1 combined bunch?" THAT sucks but sometimes, that's just how it works.

that is true. a lot of times i pass on a figure just because the shipping is to much.
